I use to work at this place and I love to come back for delicious food and atmosphere. Avoca’s freshly baked almond and pear scones (in my opinion) are the best.I also enjoy browsing around at their shop for presents or unique pieces for the house. I would suggest coming early in the morning as the restaurant and cafe gets very busy during the day, especially on the weekends.

So many times we passed the building on the way to Dublin and only now decided to try it out. I was impressed with selection of salad and flavours were very good. Unfortunately the fish cake was very dry. My husband, had ricotta cheese and roast peppers strudel… It was amazing. 😍

The queuing system is rather chaotic in the restaurant upstairs and also downstairs - definitely could be better organised.Pleasant although functional outdoor dining area with some very attractive scenery. Food is good, substantial and tasty although pricey. Love the almond and pear scone (with unexpectedly small little chunks of pear!).Health corner is well stocked with interesting brands and staff member is well informed about vitamins and minerals (not so typical, but much appreciated when asking for some advice).Generous number of parking spaces on the grounds.Worth a visit especially on a beautiful summer’s day! 🌞🌞

Great store. Has butchers, rotisserie, sushi stand and lots of nice foods and cakes. Also has a section with all the “special” “free from this and that” section. Book 📚 section, children clothes and toys section, women and men clothes and accessories section, and beauty, gifts section. Also there is a flower shop outside with very overpriced flowers. For example bunch of tulips will cost you €15.I like to get their coffee and a cake and people watch sitting outside on the bench.

Stunning lunch; absolutely delicious and you can’t beat the outdoor terrace on a sunny day. We dropped in from the motorway midway through a road trip - a world apart from anything you’d find at a service station.

Made a visit today with my husband who is a wheelchair user and as we were ordering a very kind lady, a staff member approached us and offered to take our tray and got a table for us. This is a small gesture but I can’t tell you how much it means when out and about with someone in a wheelchair. Thank you. Food was also gorgeous

Lovely staff, very friendly and great service. VERY expensive cafe and pretty expensive shop. You get what you pay for though so if you fancy a treat then definitely head to Avoca. Really lovely, well stocked and spotless clean shop. Some of the restaurant seats were ripped but that’s about it. Really nice place

So much better to break your journey here rather than a service station.Portion sizes upstairs are great, but. If you don’t want to wait, the freshly cooked chicken sandwich is excellent!Be careful to close your eyes on way through shop though otherwise you’ll be broke!!! To many nice treats to tempt you!

Lovely place! The restuarant upstairs is a great place for a family/friends breakfast or lunch (they close at 5pm). Food is so tasty with lots of healthy options😊 Desserts are just amazing - I recommend meringue and cheesecakes 😊

What an absolute gem of a place! Looking from outside it seems quite unremarkable, and not to the same standard as the Avoca in Wicklow, but it is only when you get inside that you realize how incredible this place is. Great garden space, a stunning balcony area upstairs and a vast options for food. The food quality is unmatched. Even the deli counter is filled with delicious dishes and some of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Definitely a must visit if you are anywhere near it. Even if you have to travel it would still be worth it. Treat yourself and spend a few hours eating and lounging at this fabulous venue!
