Absolutely fuming with my experience with the good burger tonight, I got food poisoning from here the last time and I chanced ordering from here again as I have often ordered my food from here and only sometimes had an issue but nothing major.Tonight I had been waiting an hour for my food for myself and my 18mo & 3 year old. Everything was fine bar my Philly steak which I had asked for no peppers, but to say it was destroyed in them is an understatement, I had tried taking them off to eat it but there was just too many. So I rang to say it to them, the first girl literally said nothing on the phone other than it was her fault and then left me in silence saying nothing for a few minutes and eventually heard her talking to someone who then came on the phone being extremely rude and saying it’s been about half hour since it went for delivery so they’re not changing it or doing anything about it; I had explained that I had waited about an hour for my food and when it came I had to change the two kids and set them up in their highchairs and then get their food to cool down and cut it up for them and when I’d finally opened up my own saw all the peppers and I couldn’t even eat around them, but she didn’t care, she was very ignorant and rude and adamant she was not going to change it or do anything about it, not even an apology even though the girl who took my order had admitted it was her fault. Over €40 I spent for the food on myself and my 2 toddlers and no way was it near worth it, I’ll stick to San Remo and Verona from now on, staff are more than friendly and helpful, the food is much nicer and way better value for your money. Disgusted with how I was treated and spoken to.

Best burger I have eating in a long long time. Huge in size very tasty good quality beef. Could not fault the “Double Trouble”🍔🍔🍔🍔 special burger in anyway. Suits my name also 😂😂😂.

Absolutely a disaster ordered 2 pizza and 4 chips they must of dipped the pizza in the Greece no one could eat it never again🤢🤢🤢

Good food, only thing is with the take away garlic cheese chips. The aluminium foil : the chips take the taste of the aluminium

Just got a doner kebab meal with meat that was definitely not lamb. It tasted rotten. Chips were cold even though I live 5mins from takeaway. I’m never ordering from here again and I’d question the good reviews this place gets

Shocking bad service today. We have had takeaways from here before, food is ok. Their southern fried chicken has been ok til today. My partner was in today waiting on our order, he saw the person behind the counter take the chicken from the shelf beside the fryer. Got it home within minutes, and he knew it tasted off, dry and not flavourful. He was not impressed. About an hour later he rang to complain, the girl who answered pretty much dismissed his complaint and pretty much argued that he was wrong! And wouldn’t accept any responsibility, he then spoke to a guy who acted like he couldn’t care less. What is going on with these people? I’ve worked in food service before and if a customer complains, you try to make the customer happy. We rarely complain and feel very annoyed with how this complaint was dealt with. We will never return to the Bad burger, as it should be called. I will be posting about this on social media and will tell everyone we know about how rude the staff are at this burger place. Shocking. Rude. Avoid this place. Plenty better chippers in Athy.

Heard great things about the Good burger, so we gave them a few weeks to settle in. Tried it tonight. The burger s were such a disappointment . Nothing special about them, quite tasteless. I asked for caramelised onions, but didn’t get them. The rashers were smoked , but not specified on menu. The kebab pitta bread was burnt . The chips were as nice as other chippers in town. Onion rings edible. . We won’t be returning. Definitely couldn’t rate them as the GOOD burger. Such a pity as there is great potential in town to sell a decent burger . Bring in Eddie rockets !
